Project overview
I lead a multi-disciplinary research programme examining what urban golf courses reveal about land, public authority, and spatial inequality. Through historical, spatial, and institutional analysis, the project explores how planning rules, fragmented governance, and political coalitions have made golf courses unusually durable. Who has access to valuable urban land, and how might it be used differently?
